The Ultimate West Coast Whisky Tour

Welcome to the ultimate West coast whisky tour visiting the award winning distilleries of Nc’Nean, Tobermory and Ardnamurchan. These are 3 different types of whisky and give you a great flavour of how it is made using a variety of approaches. They are 3 fascinating tours lasting 1-2 hours each and give you a wonderful level of detail that is often missing on a distillery tour. All this from the comfort of our heated cabin RIB and no need to drive.

Itinerary

Leave from Lochaline Harbour at 10am and head out of Loch Aline towards Drimnin. We moor up at Drimnin and take a tender to shore before a car based transfer up to the distillery. After the tour, we head back to the boat for the next leg.

From Drimnin, we head into Tobermory and dock at the harbour. We head off the boat and grab a bite to eat at Lochaline Stores and their legendary home baking. After lunch, we take the tour at Tobermory Distillery before getting back on board. 

We head into Loch Sunart and down the loch and dock at the Ardnamurchan distillery pontoon. After the Ardnamurchan tour, we head across Loch Sunart to see a pair of White Tailed Sea Eagles before heading back home to Lochaline.
